Cheng Lian and Bo Ya

The poetic drama Cheng Lian and Bo Ya tells the story of the young Bo Ya, who has grown weary of his official duties and resolves to rediscover music as a new path in life. He seeks out Cheng Lian, a renowned folk musician, to learn the art of playing guqin. However, Cheng Lian's teaching methods are extraordinarily intense; he shatters Bo Ya's cherished guqin, plunging Bo Ya into complete darkness and extinguishing his passion for music.

Folk luthier Mu Ti, senior fellow of Cheng Lian, is both a rival and a friend to Cheng Lian. Recognizing Bo Ya's musical talent, he tries to persuade Bo Ya to abandon Cheng Lian and follow him to explore new realms of music. As Bo Ya struggles with this difficult decision, Cheng Lian's wife, Bu Lan, enters the scene, reigniting the fire within Bo Ya's soul. Bu Lan is a person of profound spirituality, offering Bo Ya gentle and nurturing guidance through his struggles.

Before Bo Ya lies three paths to mastery: each one delves deep into the recesses of his heart. How will he navigate these paths to find his opportunity? And what secrets does his legendary masterpiece, "High Mountain and Flowing Water," conceal?

诗剧《成连与伯牙》叙述青年伯牙厌倦当官，决意重拾音乐，另觅人生新出口。他来到民间高人成连处习琴，怎料成连的教育方式异常激烈，竟将伯牙的瑶琴摔碎，伯牙由此陷入了全然的黑暗，对音乐的热情不复存在。民间斫琴师是成连的同门师兄，与成连亦敌亦友，他也看上伯牙的音乐才能，蛊惑伯牙放弃追随成连，跟着他另觅音乐新境界。正当伯牙陷入两难抉择之时，成连妻子布兰的出现，再燃伯牙内在的生命之火。布兰是灵性充盈之人，她对受挫的伯牙另有温存的启迪。伯牙面前铺展开了三条通向技艺精进的道路，拨开内心的幽深，他如何在其间找到机遇？他天才的传世之作《高山流水》又隐藏着什么？
